Tonal Exercise: Mediterranean was completed in early summer of 2020. It’s actually a tonal exercise that I did in preparation for a painting that I was doing for my brother of a scene along the Mediterranean.
Prints: The prints are reproductions of Sydney’s watercolor paintings. They are printed using a special technique called Giclée. Giclée printing produces more detail than a standard desktop inkjet printer. The prints are printed on high quality archival papers using special light-fast inks that are archival certified, and if treated properly will last a lifetime. For the print paper, I’ve selected an Epson Premium paper that has a slight texture to it, which is a nod to the cold press watercolor paper that I paint the originals onto.
I do not keep a stock of prints in my studio - all prints will ship directly from the company handling the printing with approximately a one-week turnaround. I will provide tracking when it becomes available to me. Shipping is a flat $5.
Original: If you are interested in the original, please reach out via email and we can discuss if it’s available, the price, as well as make arrangements for delivery.
